Wooden Supermarket Grocery Set - Tender Leaf Toys | Play Food

Perfect for:

• 3–4 yrs: Builds early vocabulary with food names and encourages imaginative shopping games.
• 4–5 yrs: Strengthens social skills and turn-taking in roleplay shops and kitchens.
• 5–6 yrs: Supports problem-solving and early numeracy through pretend money and stocking shelves.

“Here’s your shopping list: popcorn, pasta, and cat food… oh, and don’t forget the ice cream!” Toddlers are natural personal shoppers (though you may not always approve of their menu choices).

The Wooden Supermarket Grocery Set by Tender Leaf Toys includes everything a mini grocer needs to stock their shop or kitchen. With 13 beautifully designed grocery items, from a tub of ice cream and a tin of peaches to a net bag of lemons and even a cheeky can of cat food, this play set inspires endless storytelling and roleplay fun. Each item is illustrated with vintage-style packaging, making it as delightful for display as it is for play.

Beyond imaginative play, this set helps children practise language and communication, develop social skills through shop roleplay, and even introduces early maths as they sort, count, and organise their groceries. Perfect on its own, or as the ultimate companion to a play market stall or kitchen.

Tender Leaf Toys are hand-crafted in Indonesia from SVLK-certified reclaimed rubberwood. Each toy is finished with non-toxic, water-based paints, then certified to EN 71, ASTM and AS/NZS standards. For every tree they up-cycle, the brand plants another, letting you delight your little one today and nurture a greener tomorrow. So when you order a Tender Leaf Toy from Curious Moonbeam, at least 2 trees get planted! With your help, we choose to nurture the earth for the children of tomorrow.
