• 3–4 yrs: Building role-play confidence with cooking, pouring, and washing-up fun.

• 5–6 yrs: Encourages problem-solving and responsibility through complex pretend-play scenarios.

Who needs MasterChef when you’ve got a toddler whipping up “tea and toast” at 6am? The Mini Chef Wooden Play Kitchen by Tender Leaf Toys turns everyday kitchen antics into purposeful, pretend play.

This beautifully crafted wooden kitchen features an oven with turning knobs, dual hobs, a butler’s sink with double taps, and a roomy cupboard for storing all those “secret ingredients” (read: crayons and half-eaten crackers). Accessories include a solid wood kettle, cups and saucers, utensils with holder, a baguette that slices apart, an oven tray, soap, and even a gingham tea towel for that final chef’s flourish. The oven tray doubles as a sink cover, adding extra prep space for imaginative feasts.

Role-play kitchens encourage children to imitate daily life, nurturing independence, social interaction, and practical problem-solving. Whether they’re pouring endless cups of tea or negotiating who gets to be head chef, this timeless Montessori-inspired toy supports creativity, coordination, and confidence.

For every tree they up-cycle, the brand plants another, letting you delight your little one today and nurture a greener tomorrow. So when you order a Tender Leaf Toy from Curious Moonbeam, at least 2 trees get planted! With your help, we choose to nurture the earth for the children of tomorrow.
