Wooden Polar Animals Display Shelf Set - Tender Leaf Toys | Wooden Toy NZ

Perfect for:

• 3–4 yrs: Matching animals to their shelf spaces, sparking memory skills and storytelling.
• 4–5 yrs: Building small-world play scenes with penguins, polar bears and narwhals.
• 5–6 yrs: Exploring habitats, learning animal names and experimenting with stacking balance play.

Time to put on Planet Earth and watch your little one narrate their own wildlife special, channelling their inner David Attenborough as they introduce the polar bear, narwhal, and penguin to the playroom.

This Wooden Polar Animals Display Set comes with ten solid wooden creatures from the frozen poles - including the mighty orca, snowy owl, walrus, and more. Each figure can be neatly tucked into its wooden display shelf, but chances are they’ll be marching across the couch, swimming in imaginary oceans, or stacked in wobbly towers before bedtime. (Because what polar scene is complete without a penguin balancing on a walrus?)

Beyond the fun, this set encourages classification, memory, and storytelling skills while sparking curiosity about real-world habitats and conservation. Designed for Montessori-inspired learning and open-ended play, it’s a timeless addition to your child’s collection - both as a playset and a keepsake display.

Key features:

• Includes 10 solid wooden polar animals
• Presented in a wooden display shelf with compartments
• Encourages open-ended, imaginative play
• Supports storytelling, memory, and classification skills
• Stackable animal figures for fine motor and balance play

Tender Leaf Toys are hand-crafted in Indonesia from SVLK-certified reclaimed rubberwood. Each toy is finished with non-toxic, water-based paints, then certified to EN 71, ASTM and AS/NZS standards. For every tree they up-cycle, the brand plants another, letting you delight your little one today and nurture a greener tomorrow. So when you order a Tender Leaf Toy from Curious Moonbeam, at least 2 trees get planted! With your help, we choose to nurture the earth for the children of tomorrow.
