Wooden Cargo Train - QToys | Wooden Toy NZ

All aboard the imagination express! This beautifully handcrafted Wooden Cargo Train from QToys features a classic locomotive with three detachable carriages, ready to haul stories, dreams, and the occasional toy sheep around the lounge.

While your toddler reroutes freight traffic between the couch and the cat bowl, they’re quietly building essential developmental skills. Each chunky, graspable carriage invites open-ended storytelling, social turn-taking, and logistical problem-solving. Will it be a fruit delivery to the teddy bear picnic, or an emergency rescue for a misplaced sock? Only the conductor knows...

Crafted from sustainably sourced plantation timber and sealed with child-safe oils, this timeless toy supports fine motor control, communication, spatial awareness and cooperative play. As children load, link, and push their train into action, they’re engaging muscles and minds in meaningful, Montessori-aligned ways.

A classic centrepiece for any wooden toy collection, the Cargo Train offers hours of unplugged, purposeful play that grows with your child. All the fun of a railway set - no batteries, no noisy buttons, just timeless hands-on joy.
