Five rows, five shapes, five heights – and at least five chances for your toddler to proudly announce “I did it!” before sweeping the whole lot onto the floor (call it physics practice).
This wooden Shape and Size Board turns quiet moments into mini STEM lessons: children compare tall versus short, cylinder versus cube, and discover that triangles really are pointy when you stand on one barefoot at 6 a.m.
As little hands line up each brightly dyed block, they’re refining pincer grips, wrist rotation, and spatial reasoning – the skills that make future pencil control and LEGO builds a breeze. The snug, self-correcting sockets mean tamariki can check their own work, freeing you to finish a still-warm cuppa. When curiosity kicks in, the pieces moonlight as building blocks, pretend cakes, or “treasure” hidden all over the lounge. Open-ended, screen-free play? Sorted.
