Wooden Doll House Sitting Room Furniture Set - Tender Leaf Toys | Doll House Furniture NZ

Create a cosy lounge for imaginative doll-house adventures with this beautifully detailed wooden sitting room set. Scaled to 1:12, the soft blush sofa, matching armchair and patterned cushions invite tamariki to arrange, host tea parties and practise gentle social scripts. A working-style fireplace and tall floor lamp add warmth, while the bookcase, TV stand and blooming vase spark storytelling about family routines, reading time and relaxing together.

Handling each chunky piece strengthens fine motor control and spatial reasoning, and grouping items nurtures early maths language such as beside, in front and between. Open-ended small-world play also supports vocabulary growth, empathy and turn-taking – core Montessori and developmental goals. Crafted from sustainably sourced wood and finished in Tender Leaf’s signature muted palette, this set pairs perfectly with the Dovetail or Foxtail dolls houses, or refreshes any existing play home.
