Wooden Butterfly Knob Puzzle - QToys | Wooden Toy NZ

Invite curious tamariki to explore colour, shape and gentle challenge with this charming butterfly knob puzzle.

Nine brightly painted wooden pieces nest into a solid timber base, each fitted with an easy-grip knob perfect for little hands learning the pincer grasp. As children match wings and body segments they refine hand-eye coordination, develop patience, and practise early problem-solving.

The radiant rainbow palette encourages colour recognition and language – “Can you find the green wing?” – while the symmetrical design introduces early maths concepts such as halves and mirror images.

Made from sustainably sourced plantation timber and finished with child-safe materials, this Montessori-inspired puzzle is a beautiful addition to any play shelf or classroom.
