Timber Taxi Log Car - Tender Leaf Toys | Wooden Toy NZ

Perfect for:

• 18 – 24 mths: Push, pull and park the log - perfect for strengthening wrist muscles and early hand-eye control.
• 2 – 3 yrs: Pop Fungi, Robbie and Woody in and out to spark animal noises, early language and turn-taking.
• 3 – 4 yrs: Weave the Timber Taxi into bigger Merrywood Tales set-ups for storytelling, problem-solving and social play.

Need a lift through the living-room forest? Hop into the Timber Taxi, a quirky log-on-wheels that shuttles Merrywood pals anywhere imagination calls. One minute it’s cruising the carpet, the next it’s launching off a couch cushion “hill” while your toddler supplies the sound effects (and refuses every speed limit).

Smooth-rolling wheels invite little hands to grasp, push and chase, boosting gross‐motor coordination and core strength. The chunky peg friends slot neatly into three holes, encouraging pincer grip practice and colour matching. When the crew tumbles out, open-ended play blooms – today they’re rescues on a wildlife mission, tomorrow they’re passengers headed to Nana’s. Montessori fans will love how this simple, purposeful design supports independence and self-directed exploration.

Key features:
