Pound a Ball Tower - QToys | Wooden Toy NZ

Perfect for:

• 18–24 months: Refines grip and introduces cause and effect - a safe way to channel “must whack everything” energy.
• 2–3 years: Builds focus, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving as they track the balls down ramps (while you perfect sofa-ball retrieval speed).
• 3–4 years: Sparks imaginative play and turn-taking, while reinforcing STEM concepts like momentum, speed, and gravity.

Your tiny human has just discovered the power of whacking things... and your coffee table is begging for mercy.

Hand them the Pound a Ball Tower instead. One solid thunk with the toddler-sized mallet sends a bright wooden ball swirling down a rainbow staircase while you enjoy an entire sip of tea in peace.

With every satisfying clonk and hypnotic spiral, little learners are secretly hard-wiring fine motor control, hand-eye coordination and early physics smarts. Meanwhile, you’re sharpening your own skills in ball retrieval from under the sofa – parenting cross-training at its finest.

It slots perfectly into Montessori shelves, though it will likely tour the entire house (and maybe the dog bowl) before lunch. Place it on a low table or floor space to spark independent, imaginative learning sessions, guiding children through playful discovery and joyful experimentation.
