Natural Colour Wooden Blocks Set – QToys | Wooden Toy NZ

Perfect for:

• 2–3 years: First towers, wobbly bridges and colour sorting fun - fine motor skills in action.
• 3–4 years: Building houses, castles and matching shapes - boosting problem solving and spatial awareness.
• 4–5 years: Designing imaginative worlds with more detail - nurturing storytelling, creativity and early STEM thinking.

Ever noticed how a toddler’s "tower" usually ends in a spectacular crash... followed by giggles? With the QToys Natural Wooden Colour Block Set, those crashes turn into learning moments. This 34-piece set includes an assortment of shapes - triangles, cylinders, rectangles and squares - all finished in a mix of natural timber and bright food-grade dyes.

Designed for Montessori and Steiner-inspired play, these blocks invite open-ended exploration. Children can practise stacking, balancing, and shape recognition, while also experimenting with colour matching and simple engineering. The smooth wooden surfaces are carefully sanded for safe little hands, and the handy wooden tray means tidying up is almost as satisfying as the play itself (well, almost).

As they build, tumble, and rebuild, kids are strengthening fine motor skills, problem solving, and spatial awareness, all while expressing creativity through play. Whether it’s a castle, a rocket, or a colourful wobbly tower, every creation is an adventure in learning.
