My First Aid Kit – Mentari | Kids Doctor Kit NZ

Perfect for:

• 3–4 years: Encourages role play, empathy, and early social skills through pretend doctor–patient scenarios.
• 4–5 years: Builds communication skills, confidence, and problem-solving while introducing basic health concepts.
• 5+ years: Supports imaginative storytelling, cooperative play, and early understanding of caring professions.

Whether your little one is treating a teddy bear’s cough or giving Mum a pretend flu shot, Mentari’s My First Aid Kit turns caring into an adventure. Packed in a bright red, zip-up canvas bag, this 7-piece wooden doctor’s set includes all the essentials for imaginative medical missions: stethoscope, thermometer, ear probe, scissors, tube of cream, syringe, and a bottle of pills.

Made from sustainably sourced rubber wood and plywood, each piece is smoothly finished and painted in soft, inviting colours. As children “check heartbeats” and “prescribe” spoonfuls of care, they’re developing empathy, fine motor control, and role-play confidence. Plus, it’s a great way to prepare little ones for real-life medical visits—without the tears.

And yes, you might just find yourself on the receiving end of a very thorough teddy bear check-up… again… and again.

Mentari toys are crafted from sustainably sourced rubber wood, a clever by-product of the latex industry, repurposing materials that might otherwise be wasted. For every tree used, Mentari plants a new one—making each plaything a small, joyful step toward reforestation. All toys are designed, painted, assembled and quality-checked in their dedicated factory in Indonesia, under one roof for over 30 years. They meet rigorous international safety standards including EN 71, ASTM, SOR and AS/NZS ISO, so you can trust these toys to be both enduring and safe.
